About

Mosaic Transit Group was established to design, build and maintain the Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) project in northwest Toronto. The 11 km, 18-stop line runs along Finch Avenue West from Keele Street to Humber College’s north campus, creating an important transit connection for the Finch West community. Mosaic Transit Group is a consortium comprising ACS Infrastructure Canada Inc., Aecon Concessions, a division of Aecon Construction Group Inc., and CRH Canada Group Inc. The consortium includes Mosaic Transit Constructors (MTC), responsible for the design and construction of the Finch West LRT, and Mosaic Transit Partners Maintenance (MTPM), responsible for maintaining the system during operations. Construction began in 2019, with MTC working alongside Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario to deliver the new LRT system. Today, with the Finch West LRT in operation, Mosaic’s focus has transitioned from construction to long-term maintenance. The line is owned by Metrolinx, operated by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), and maintained by Mosaic Transit Partners Maintenance. MTPM plays an important role in supporting the safety, reliability, performance and ongoing upkeep of the LRT’s infrastructure and systems. Through its maintenance activities, MTPM helps ensure the assets that make up the Finch West LRT continue to support dependable service for customers and the communities along the corridor. From building the line to maintaining it for the future, Mosaic remains committed to supporting the long-term success of the Finch West LRT.
