The Legal Counsel provides strategic legal advice to senior leadership on a diverse portfolio including procurement, privacy, and intellectual property. The role is also responsible for managing the university's annual legislative compliance report and mitigating financial and reputational risks. Candidates must hold an LLB or JD, be an active member of the Law Society of Alberta, and have at least four years of experience providing broad legal advice. A master's degree or postgraduate studies are also required.
