Job summary
Pharmacy Technician Compounding Pharmacy Calgary MPA are retained by an established healthcare provider to recruit for a Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Calgary. The organization is a Canadian healthcare provider specializing in specialty pharmacy, infusion therapy, and retail pharmacy services. They deliver medications, medical equipment, and home healthcare solutions to improve patient outcomes. In this role, you will be responsible for aseptically preparing sterile drug admixtures in the cleanroom and assisting with order entry, label verifications, production staging, decontamination/cleaning, labelling and final packaging checks. 10am - 6pm Mon-Fri schedule. Key Responsibilities Prepare sterile prescriptions in accordance with aseptic techniques, SOPs, and quality standards. Ensure compliance with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, health & safety, and the Code of Conduct. Perform cleanroom production activities including inventory, staging, labelling, packaging, final checks, cleaning, and quality assurance. Prioritize tasks, solve problems independently, and collaborate effectively with pharmacy and production teams. Maintain required training and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Pharmacy Technician Diploma from an Alberta College of Pharmacy-accredited institution. Registered or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy. Licensed Regulated Pharmacy Technician in Alberta (or able to obtain licensure). IV/sterile compounding experience is an asset. Package: Up to $34 per hour RRSP (4% match), Medical, Dental and Paramedical Benefits, Life Insurance. Requires a Pharmacy Technician Diploma from an Alberta College of Pharmacy-accredited institution and registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy. IV/sterile compounding experience is considered an asset.
