Supply Chain Analyst Location Delta Starter area Supply Chain Target group Professionals Contract type Full-Time Job ID 1639 Internal Metrics Reporting: Report on metrics related to the purchasing of used versus new materials, spares and services escalation impacts, and rebate forecasting, providing insights to guide procurement strategies. Operational Purchasing & Inventory Management: Focus on operational purchasing and inventory activities related to repair services and new/surplus spares, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Manage inventory levels and trades effectively. Internal Processes: Monitor and reconcile vendor consignments, customer stock COP, and repair triggering. Perform material forecasting, manage purchasing budgets, and update costing models. Support material planning, sales, and asset valuation. Collaborate with the purchasing team, including buyers, material coordinators, and material planners, and participate in budget review and operational planning meetings. Process Improvement: Drive process mapping and improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the supply chain. Optimize procurement and service coordination across global MTU locations. Supplier Contract Management: Conduct thorough reviews of supplier contracts, perform pricing checks, and analyze terms to provide strategic recommendations. Supply Chain Analysis: Perform comprehensive risk analysis and market reviews to identify opportunities within the supply chain while assessing the financial impacts of these activities for informed decision-making. Supplier Performance Evaluation: Analyze supplier KPIs to assess performance and collaborate with suppliers on development initiatives to address both short and long-term supply chain challenges. Escalate supplier issues as needed. Supplier Management & Development: Oversee forecasting, bulk buys, and strategic purchases, monitoring supplier volume and performance while addressing issues and ensuring optimal outcomes through development initiatives. Ensure appropriate communication with external and internal customers and suppliers while building strong partnerships with internal teams, external suppliers, and our MTU Global network. Any other operation related responsibilities may be added as the department continues to grow.
