Vacancy Disclosure: This posting is for an existing vacancy within our organization that we are actively seeking to fill. Infrastructure Territory Manager Mueller Company (Mueller Co.), a leading manufacturer of flow control devices for the water and gas distribution industries, has an immediate opening in our Water Products Division for an Outside Sales Representative in the Atlantic Canada region (newfoundland-Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island). Position Summary Primary sales are directed towards establishing specifications with end users within the territory. The position requires promoting and managing the sales from existing and prospective customers through a relationship based and solution approach for all company in assigned sales territory. Working under the direction of the National Sales Manager, the Outside Sales Representative is provided the opportunity to learn and expand his/her knowledge of the water distribution industry and sales knowledge/strategies, all while earning a competitive base salary plus commissions! Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following: To establish, develop and maintain business relationship with current and prospective customers in the territory; To call on and schedule appointment to meet existing and prospective customers; To develop strategies to maximize and provide value added solutions for the end user; To prepare quotations as required; To establish products specification from Municipalities and Consulting Engineers; To respond to customer issues and requests; To establish sales goals and specification objectives to meet company sales budget; To maintain effective communication with Management and Inside Sales Representative; To plan and organize sales promotion events such as seminars, plant tours, tradeshows and other tasks required; To actively participate in trade organizations to promote Mueller products; To perform product training for end users and distributors; To propose and recommend strategies to improve and increase market. To travel weekly to offer efficient coverage of the territory. Qualifications Minimum education - University degree or College diploma (ideally Business Administration or Engineering); Minimum 5 years field sales experience in water works or related industries; or equivalent education and experience combined; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; Ability to determine solutions for the customers (Consultative approach); Results-oriented and able to work independently within a team environment; Strong administrative and organizational skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required; Salary/Pay Range: $80,026.00-$110,009.00 CAD The compensation range above reflects a good-faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment as of the date of posting. Individual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the role, professional experience, job-related skills, achievements, and/or work location. The range listed is only one component of the total compensation package offered to candidates. Other Compensation & Benefits: Mueller offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
