Responsible for coordinating daily activities of a business unit / department. Responsibilities may include the assignment of duties for secretarial / administrative assistants and clerical staff, as well as the hiring and training of these staff. Other duties include preparing reports for management and acting as department liaison with outside vendors / suppliers and consultants. Individuals work with limited direction and possess a thorough knowledge of area supported and corporate policy. May also perform some senior secretarial responsibilities for senior management. Responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving problems. Role at this level usually has full ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables. What you’ll do
The role involves coordinating daily activities of a business unit, including managing administrative staff and preparing management reports. The individual will act as a liaison with outside vendors and take full ownership of specific processes and procedures.
Requirements
Candidates must possess thorough knowledge of the supported area and corporate policy to work with limited direction. The role requires the ability to identify and resolve problems while acting as a procedural expert for the team.
