Job summary
Position Summary: The Sales Administrator supports the sales and operations teams by managing retailer item setups, customer orders, product data, reporting, and sales support activities. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate product and pricing information across multiple retail channels, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring efficient execution of sales operations, customer service, and logistics processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in working with retailer portals, CRM/ERP systems, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Manage end-to-end item setup across retailer portals including Home Depot IDM, Lowe’s Network, Walmart Retail Link, Amazon Vendor Central, and other customer systems. Ensure accurate product data entry including BOM, dimensions, weights, packaging, pricing, and retailer-specific attributes. Coordinate with Manufacturing and Product Development teams to collect technical specifications and support new product introductions (NPI). Process customer orders accurately and ensure pricing, product, and shipping details are correct. Extract sales, inventory, pricing, and market performance reports from retailer portals and internal systems. Maintain accurate SKU, pricing, inventory, and customer records within CRM/ERP platforms. Generate and distribute regular sales and performance reports to management. Audit product listings to ensure pricing consistency, data accuracy, and channel compliance. Manage product updates including price changes, digital assets, imagery, videos, and A+ content. Identify and resolve listing issues such as missing content, incorrect dimensions, or broken links. Provide customer support regarding product specifications, availability, pricing, and order inquiries. Support the sales team with presentations, proposals, retailer documentation, and routine correspondence. Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and logistics for the sales team. Manage sample requests and track shipments for retailer reviews, photography shoots, and customer presentations. Education and/or Experience: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred. Experience in sales administration, customer service, retail operations, or product/data management. Experience working with major retailer portals such as Home Depot IDM, Lowe’s Network, Walmart Retail Link, or Amazon Vendor Central is considered an asset. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with CRM and ERP systems preferred. Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Technical Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in; Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. General Data Analysis Software and Microsoft Excel (for sales reporting and tracking). Meeting Scheduling and Logistics tools (e.g., Outlook Calendar, Microsoft Teams). Order Processing systems and general Sales Administration workflows.
