Use specialized tools and equipment safely and efficiently to execute repairs with attention to detail. Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and care instructions. Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed, including parts used and procedures followed. Ensure all jewelry is handled with care to prevent damage during the repair process. Collaborate with sales staff to provide expert advice on jewelry maintenance and preservation. Skills Proven experience in jewelry repair or a related technical field such as goldsmithing or gemology. Strong knowledge of jewelry design, materials, and repair techniques. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail for intricate work. Ability to operate specialized tools such as soldering irons, ultrasonic cleaners, magnification devices, and polishing machines. Good communication skills for explaining technical repairs to customers clearly and professionally. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Certification or training in jewelry repair or related fields is preferred but not required.
