We are currently seeking the expertise of a Training Coordinator to join our team from our head office based in Bedford, NS. The Opportunity The Training Department of the Municipal Group of Companies is seeking a Training Coordinator to support the delivery of high-impact training and development programs across our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and working with employees, leaders, program participants and external stakeholders. In this role, you will contribute to a positive learning experience by coordinating program logistics, supporting learners and facilitators, maintaining training records, and ensuring training events run smoothly. This position is based in Bedford, NS. Responsibilities Coordinate the delivery of training and development programs, including participant registration, onboarding, scheduling, communications, and event logistics. Serve as the primary point of contact for learners, facilitators, leaders, and other stakeholders, responding to training-related inquiries and providing LMS support. Maintain training records, learner data, and program documentation. Prepare training materials and coordinate facilities, training resources, catering, and other program requirements. Support facilitators before, during, and after training sessions to ensure a positive learning experience. Provide general administrative support and other related duties as required. Qualifications And Experience Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, Education, or a related field is considered an asset. Experience in administration, training coordination, event coordination, customer service, or a related role. Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies are considered assets. Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle to support early morning, evening, weekend related activities. Why Join Us?
