Commercial Pro AV Product Manager

MuxLab Inc (Montreal, Canada), is a leading designer and manufacturer of connectivity solutions for the Pro AV, AV over IP, Streaming, Digital Signage and Broadcast markets, and is actively seeking a candidate for a Commercial Pro AV Product Manager position. The candidate will work in collaboration with our Product Management team and shall share and lead the following responsibilities: Study market trends in Pro AV, AV over IP, Streaming, Video Conferencing, Digital Signage and Broadcast Identify new products and solutions (both hardware and software) for our target markets. Provide the management team with Marketing Requirement Documents (MRD) for new product opportunities. Provide the engineering team with Product Requirement Documents (PRD) for new products development. Creation of various product documents, including product manuals and installation guides, datasheets, application diagrams, and technical reference documents. Work with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement overall sales & marketing strategy plans for our target markets. Manage existing Pro AV, AV over IP, Streaming, Video Conferencing, Digital Signage and Broadcast product lines, including product lifecycle (in collaboration with Product Managers). Perform competitive product analysis, including market price analysis. Establish product costing strategies. Provide product presentations to internal teams and customers. Assist the marketing team with product marketing material efforts. Assist sales and marketing with trade shows. Closely follow project progress and attend project meetings as needed The candidate must have the following skills and experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager. Good general understanding and experience in the Professional Audio-Video market. Good technical knowledge, along with an Electrical engineering background. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Analytical ability. Effective problem-solving skills. Excellent writing skills in English, as MuxLab sells products globally. Professional appearance and presentation. Familiarity with MuxLab’s specific target markets is an asset. · Bilingual (English, French) Salary and benefits package: Negotiable. The role involves identifying new product opportunities and creating technical documentation like MRDs and PRDs for the engineering team. The manager will also oversee product lifecycles and collaborate with sales and marketing to implement growth strategies.

Candidates must have at least 5 years of product management experience and a background in electrical engineering. Proficiency in English and French, along with a strong understanding of the Professional Audio-Video market, is required.
