Myticas Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP SOX Consultant to support a confidential client located in Newfoundland and Labrador, approximately one hour from Gander. This is a hybrid engagement requiring two weeks onsite per month, with preference given to candidates based in Halifax or Toronto. The consultant will help the client prepare for SOX certification by assessing, documenting, testing and remediating control activities within an SAP environment. Key Responsibilities Assess the design and operating effectiveness of key SOX controls Document and test control activities within an SAP environment Validate Information Produced by Entity (IPE) Review SAP reports and tables supporting financial controls Develop remediation plans and support deficiency management Liaise with management and external auditors throughout certification and audit activities Support overall SOX and ICFR audit readiness Mandatory Qualifications Minimum five years of experience supporting SOX compliance programs in SAP environments Demonstrated experience with SOX 404 compliance Strong experience with IPE validation Experience conducting control design and effectiveness assessments Knowledge of SAP reports and tables supporting financial controls Experience with control remediation and deficiency management Experience supporting management and external auditors during SOX certification or audit activities Strong understanding of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) Preferred Qualifications CPA designation Experience with SAP S/4HANA Experience working within regulated or publicly traded organizations ,

Requirements

Candidates must have at least five years of experience in SAP SOX compliance and a strong understanding of ICFR. A CPA designation and experience with SAP S/4HANA are preferred.
