Role Description The Part Time Pharmacist will provide comprehensive dispensing services, including verifying prescriptions, assessing therapeutic appropriateness, and counseling patients on proper medication use and potential side effects. Qualifications Current licensure in good standing as a Pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP). Demonstrated knowledge of pharmacotherapy, drug interactions, and patient counseling principles. Experience with community pharmacy operations, including dispensing workflows and inventory management. Proficiency with pharmacy management software, electronic prescription systems, and third‑party billing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare providers. Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality. Commitment to regulatory compliance, medication safety, and continuous professional development. Previous community pharmacy experience is an asset; fluency in additional languages is beneficial.
