Job summary

Account Manager – Aerospace and Defense (18-month Contract) We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Senior Account Manager to join our Aerospace and Defense Sales team. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage complex customer requirements while supporting business growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing customer relationships, creating new business opportunities, and supporting technical and commercial aspects of the sales process. NEF is AS9100 certified and maintains all requirements to this standard. Main Responsibilities: * Review and evaluate customer quote requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness * Engage directly with end-use customers to qualify and discuss new quote opportunities * Collaborate with the NEF quoting and sourcing teams to support pricing and supply strategies * Partner with Business Development Managers and Sales Managers to develop and execute sales strategies * Lead customer discussions related to product design, applications, and new program opportunities * Manage quote mark-ups and analyze sales forecasting data to support business decisions * Review customer contracts and lead part kick-off activities * Maintain strong customer relationships and act as a key point of contact for account-related matters * Perform other related duties as required Key Skills / Core Competencies * Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset * Proven problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical concepts * Ability to troubleshoot and support technical design challenges * Strong prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team * Strong overall computer and systems skills * Blueprint reading * Aerospace and Defense fastener experience (considered an asset) * US government contract experience (considered an asset) * CUI and CMMC compliance experience (considered an asset) * Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required Education / Experience: * 3–5 years of experience in a sales or account management role * Proven experience managing customer accounts and supporting territory growth * Experience within the aerospace industry preferred * Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, or a related field considered an asset * Must pass the Security Assessment through the Controlled Goods Program Additional Skills: * Fluent in Spanish considered an asset Company Overview: National Engineered Fasteners Group (NEF) is a firm dedicated to providing innovative and cost-effective engineered fastening solutions to global manufacturers.
