What You'll Do As a Mobility Equipment Technician, you will combine mechanical know-how with exceptional customer service as you travel throughout your community helping clients. Your responsibilities will include: * Delivering, installing, servicing, and repairing mobility and accessibility equipment in client homes and healthcare facilities. * Assembling, adjusting, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of mobility products. * Educating clients and caregivers on the safe operation and care of their equipment. * Installing products such as wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, grab bars, ramps, ceiling lifts, and stairlifts. * Completing required documentation, including wheelchair setup records. * Maintaining rental equipment and supporting warehouse operations. * Working collaboratively with therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients. * Providing outstanding customer service while building positive relationships with clients and their families. * Assisting with inventory management and other branch responsibilities as needed. You will be successful if you: * Enjoy working with your hands and solving mechanical problems. * Have experience using hand and power tools. * Take pride in doing quality work. * Can work independently while being part of a supportive team. * Are dependable, organized, and customer-focused. * Enjoy helping people and making a difference. You will also need: * A valid driver's license. * The ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs. * Eligibility to work in Canada. * Strong communication skills.
