*** The successful applicant will be scheduled to work 32 - 40 hours per week including weekdays, weekends and a combination of AM and PM shift times*** Regular Store Hours: Mon – Sat 8:00am – 8:00pm Sun 9:00am – 7:00pm GROCERY TEAM LEADER As part of one of our largest and most diverse departments, our Grocery Team Members are passionate about local, organic and sustainable food. This role is a leader in our grocery team and helps inspire and motivate others in the team! Working with the Grocery Manager, you will help lead the grocery team by example, providing exceptional customer service and building a positive team environment. Set the team up for success for the day by prioritizing daily tasks needing to be completed and providing direction to team members when needed Give a warm “hello!” to our customers as they enter the department – we like building connections with our new and regular customers and sharing a laugh along the way. Assist with giving direction during shift and be a go-to for team members questions, training, and grocery expertise Assist customers with questions they may have about products we and give suggestions based on their needs (don’t worry, we will train you on this!) If there is a question or concern that a team member is not quite sure on how to answer with a customer, you will jump in and share your knowledge! Use your creativity and eye for detail to make attractive and organized displays. Learn about new products and featured products that are on sale through Nature’s Fare’s flyers and magazines. In other words, you will help others, be a leader within the team, share your knowledge on our amazing products, be safe, be a great team player and have fun! WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Experience in grocery and/or retail environment is preferred but not needed Minimum of 1 Year Experience leading a team of amazing people Experience in a customer service role is needed A passion for local, organic, and sustainable food and natural supplements Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Strong work ethic and desire to contribute to people’s health and wellbeing Ability to work in an energetic, fast-paced environment Like to have fun!
