*** The successful candidate can expect to work between 32 - 40 hours per week, and will be scheduled a combination of weekday/weekend/AM/PM shifts. This shift requires peak availability and is not suitable for students.*** Regular Store Hours: Mon – Sat 8:00am – 8:00pm Sun 9:00am – 7:00pm GROCERY TEAM MEMBER As part of one of our largest and most diverse departments, our Grocery Team Members are passionate about local, organic and sustainable food. You like helping others choose products that work best for their health and lifestyle, and you are eager to learn and try new products so you are confident in the information you are sharing! This role also keeps our shelves stocked and looking amazing through building creative displays. This role would be great for someone who loves variety in their daily tasks as it will require being cross-trained in cash and produce as well as grocery! PERKS: Wage range $18.50 - 19.50/hr; experience dependent Flexible benefits Up to 25% store discount Education allowance Free swag (products, food, clothing + more) Share in some laughs, air high-fives, and fun each day WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: Give a warm “hello!” to our customers as they enter the department – we like building connections with our new and regular customers and sharing a laugh along the way. Assist customers with questions they may have about products we and give suggestions based on their needs (don’t worry, we will train you on this!) Work with your team to stock shelves throughout the day so it is easily accessible for customers when they need it. Use your creativity and eye for detail to make attractive and organized displays. Learn about new products and featured products that are on sale through Nature’s Fare’s flyers and magazines. In other words, you will help others, share your knowledge on our amazing products, be safe, be a great team player and have fun! WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Experience in grocery and/or retail environment is preferred but not needed Experience in a customer service role is needed A passion for local, organic and sustainable food and natural supplements Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Strong work ethic and desire to contribute to people’s health and wellbeing Ability to work in an energetic, fast-paced environment Like to have fun!
