Job Summary: The Project Engineer is responsible for leading our industrial pollution control and product recovery projects from our Mississauga, ON location. The Project Engineer will participate in the design of cyclones and dust collectors. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Manage all Project Engineering Activities Prepare the 3D models for Mechanical Components and Steel Structures in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Prepare General Arrangement drawings, Equipment Layouts and Foundation plan drawings. Work with sub-vendors in various Engineering disciplines such as structural and electrical on system integration and optimization. Coordinate with sales and fabricators to ensure the success of the projects Ensure that all engineering solutions are cost effective. Work with project managers to ensure that the engineering schedules and budgets are maintained. Effective communication with internal and external teams. Your Skills & Traits: Mechanical Engineering Degree. 3-5 years design engineering experience, preferably designing mechanical equipment. Hands on experience in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD 2D Knowledge on drawing standards. Hands on experience in developing fabrication drawings, structural drawings, welding details & manufacturing processes. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Understanding standard steel profiles and steel connections. Good communication and analytical skills. Comfortable working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines Ability to work independently and with a team. Analytical thinker with excellent problem solving skills. Work well with minimal supervision.
