The Position: Neelands is searching for a 313A HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team servicing the Collingwood, Ontario location. This position is regular, full-time. Reporting to the Service Manager, HVAC, the Service Technician will work closely with the team on repair, install, troubleshoot and preventative maintenance of HVAC & refrigeration systems. This role requires the individual to be available during the weekdays from 7:30am – 5:30pm for “on-call” and after-hours service calls from dispatch and/or prescheduled assignments. Responsibilities: Response to service calls and scheduled maintenance and repairs for refrigeration and mechanical equipment; Perform diagnostics to detect malfunctions and defects in equipment such as RTU’s, MUA’s, Boilers, Light refrigeration Troubleshoot to ensure the system is functioning properly following repairs; Perform schedule and unscheduled repair and maintenance on HVAC, and mechanical equipment; Effectively communicate and update all information regarding assignments to the team; Provide recommendations and assist estimator with information on quote; Build and maintain positive relationship with customers or clients; Maintain service vehicle inventory and cleanliness; Other duties as required Qualifications: Valid 313A Refrigeration License, 5th year apprentice will be considered; Gas License, G1 Preferred, G2 will be considered. Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid 313A Refrigeration License, with a 5th-year apprentice being considered, and proficiency in the English language for reading, writing, and speaking. A valid G driver's license with a clean abstract is mandatory, and a G1 or G2 Gas License is preferred or considered.
