Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Pharmasave in New Westminster, British Columbia. A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation are required, as this position involves delivering medications to patients. Compensation listed is a starting point only and will be determined based on candidate experience. Responsibilities: Perform medication and medical supply pickups and deliveries throughout New Westminster. Report directly to the Pharmacy Manager. Use a personal, reliable vehicle for deliveries, as a company vehicle is not available. Mileage reimbursement will be provided. Ensure the safety and security of all medications, medical supplies, and other cargo during transportation. Complete delivery documentation, obtain required signatures, and submit delivery slips as needed. Maintain accurate delivery and related records. Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager. Qualifications: Valid, permanent provincial driver’s license with a safe driving record. Valid First Aid and CPR certification. Current driver’s abstract dated within the last 30 days. Trustworthy and dependable, with a high level of professionalism. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments. Ability to accurately follow established procedures and guidelines. Availability to work between 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM daily, including weekends and holidays, as required. Criminal Record Check is required.
