Role Overview We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven PMO Manager to lead delivery governance and portfolio execution across 4–5 core SaaS products. This is a high-visibility role responsible for ensuring planning maturity, delivery predictability, release excellence, and cross-functional alignment across multiple engineering teams. You will serve as the single point of accountability for portfolio-level project management and delivery oversight, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and executive leadership. This role does not have direct reports initially but requires strong influence, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive outcomes without authority. Over time, this position may evolve into leading and mentoring junior PMO professionals. Responsibilities: Portfolio Delivery & Planning Excellence Lead and orchestrate annual, quarterly, PI, and sprint planning across multiple product lines. Drive portfolio-level roadmapping alignment to ensure business priorities translate into executable plans. Improve planning maturity, forecasting accuracy, and release predictability. Ensure cross-team dependency visibility and proactive risk mitigation. Coordinate release readiness and milestone execution to improve delivery confidence and quality outcomes. Execution Leadership & Risk Management Act as the escalation point for portfolio-level blockers, risks, and resource constraints. Identify systemic delivery inefficiencies and implement structural improvements. Optimize scope, sequencing, and prioritization in partnership with Product and Engineering. Increase delivery transparency while reducing reactive firefighting. Drive faster issue resolution through structured facilitation and cross-functional alignment. Governance, Metrics & Operational Intelligence Define and standardize scalable PMO governance frameworks across assigned products. Establish and monitor KPIs that improve: Delivery predictability First build quality Release stability Cross-team dependency management Risk exposure reduction Leverage JIRA, eazyBI, and reporting tools to generate executive-ready insights. Translate delivery data into actionable recommendations for continuous optimization. Cross-Functional Leadership Influence without authority across Product, Engineering, QA, Design, and Business stakeholders. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on delivery, health, and execution strategy. Strengthen collaboration models across distributed and remote teams. Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and outcome-driven execution. AI-Enabled PMO Innovation Apply AI-powered tools to enhance planning, reporting, forecasting, and documentation. Utilize OpenAI GPT or similar technologies to automate reporting, analyze delivery trends, and generate portfolio insights. Continuously evaluate modern delivery tooling to improve efficiency and decision-making. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in project, portfolio, or PMO leadership within SaaS or enterprise software environments. Proven track record in managing multiple complex product initiatives simultaneously. Strong experience in scaled agile environments (SAFe or SAFe-lite preferred). RTE experience or similar portfolio-level coordination strongly preferred. Deep expertise in JIRA, eazyBI, and delivery analytics. Demonstrated success in improving delivery predictability and operational metrics. Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills. Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple engineering teams. PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe certification, or equivalent preferred. Experience leveraging AI tools in delivery management is highly desirable. Why This Role Matters This is not a traditional PMO role. Requires 8-12 years of IT experience with at least 5 years as a Scrum Master or PMO lead in SaaS environments. Proficiency in Jira, eazyBI, and scaled agile environments is essential, with a preference for PMP or SAFe certifications.
