Job summary
Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Specialist with strong technical expertise in income tax compliance, tax provisions, and cross‑functional financial collaboration. This role supports both domestic and international entities and requires a high level of judgment, analytical capability, and the ability to operate independently on complex accounting matters. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review income tax filings for domestic and international entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and surplus calculations, contributing to global tax strategy and compliance. Review and prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions for both domestic and international operations, including detailed analysis and reporting. Work closely with Corporate Accounting, Legal, Treasury, and Finance teams to support tax‑related initiatives and ensure alignment across departments. Participate in large‑scale business projects, providing subject‑matter expertise and conducting complex tax and accounting analysis as required. Make recommendations on highly technical or complex issues, often in the absence of formal guidelines. Apply resourcefulness and ingenuity to interpret policy and develop solutions. Experience with regulatory accounting frameworks is considered an asset. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) 15+ years of progressive experience in tax accounting Strong understanding of domestic and international tax compliance Proven ability to interpret complex accounting policies and provide expert guidance Exceptional analytical, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills Experience in regulatory accounting is a plus
