Job Title: Administrative Assistant Location: Edmonton, AB/ Calgary, AB Employment Type: Contract About the Role NetworkPedia is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and operational support for a Public-sector client. This role is ideal for an organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing correspondence, document processing, records management, and office administration. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative support to program staff and management. Receive, sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence. Scan, file, track, and route documents while maintaining accurate electronic records. Support document management, approvals, and signature processes. Perform data entry and maintain electronic document management systems. Monitor office supplies and administrative resources. Coordinate courier services and inter-office mail. Respond to routine inquiries and direct requests appropriately. Support administrative processes involving applications, verification activities, and client documentation. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information. Assist with special projects and additional administrative duties. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of administrative experience. Minimum 1 year of customer service and/or retail experience. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to manage confidential information professionally. Preferred Skills Information Management or Records Management experience. Public sector experience.
