Kamloops is a city of 90,000 people, located 350 kilometers east of Vancouver. The area provides the opportunity to live and work in a vibrant community with its own university and within easy reach of world class ski resorts, championship golf courses, mountain biking trails, popular recreational lakes and award-winning vineyards. **About the Role** **Schedule:** 7 days on, 7 days off (Day shift only) **Position Reports To:** Exploration Supervisor **Duration:** This position is anticipated to be a 12 month Temporary role, however it may be extended as per operational requirements. **Position Overview:** The successful applicant will be tasked with supporting the exploration drilling program and team. **Key Responsibilities** - Handling and storing core boxes; - Assisting with preparing sample shipments; - Sawing and sampling core; - Assisting with the QA/QC practices; - Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. **Qualifications** The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent background - Physically fit - Demonstrated ability of being a contributing team member and leader - Organized and enthusiastic. - Previous experience collecting geotechnical data would be advantageous - Experience with diamond drill core, operating skid steers, and driving underground would be an asset. - Driver license is required **Other Requirements** Candidates will be required to participate in a comprehensive qualification process, including: - Successful completion of pre-placement functional screen - Provide proof of a minimum valid Class driver’s license - Demonstrate eligibility to work in Canada - Provide confirmation of valid educational requirements **Compensation** The anticipated salary for this position will be between $55,000 to $60,000. **Inclusion, Equal Opportunity, Accessibility** Coeur is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
