To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our brand to life, visit us at https://www.newhorizonco-op.crs/sites/newhorizon What you’ll do: Cut, trim, debone and prepare standard cuts of meat according to specifications Wrap, label and package prepared meats Respond to all customer inquiries regarding different cuts, serving sizes and other product related questions in a courteous and well-informed manner Ensure all equipment is clean, well maintained and fully operational Perform duties in compliance with established health and safety regulations Other duties, as assigned Why it matters: Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Who you are and what you have: Enthusiastic approach to work with strong leadership skills Availability to work on a very flexible schedule (Morning and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends) Practical working knowledge of daily retail operations Able to work independently and in a team Can handle cool temperatures, and heavy lifting may be required, up to 50lbs Must be 18 years of age or older Previous Meat Cutting experience is required, previous retail experience is an asset Our Team Members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package and an employer-contributed pension plan.
