Job summary
New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Business Analyst to support the delivery of core business analysis services, as well as project management and change management activities. The Business Analyst will facilitate meetings both in person and virtually, identify and manage tasks, negotiate and accept responsibilities, and coordinate with I&T support teams, co-workers, and clients on a variety of technical activities. The successful candidate will provide direction, support collaboration across stakeholder groups, and help ensure successful delivery of assigned initiatives. Responsibilities: Demonstrate strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn new business and technical environments. Act as a self-starter who can build strong working relationships, influence stakeholders, and gain agreement on project approaches. Facilitate collaboration across business, technical, and project teams to support successful delivery of assigned initiatives. Use Microsoft Office Suite and Visio to develop clear, professional project and business analysis deliverables. Develop and maintain deliverables such as process maps, project plans, business change management plans, steering committee presentations, risk and issue logs, decision logs, statements of work, and related project documentation. Requirements: 3+ years of experience working as an Intermediate Business Analyst. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Visio. Ability to develop clear, comprehensive, and professional project documentation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong written and verbal English proficiency. Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage stakeholder expectations. Experience facilitating cross-functional meetings and workshops to gather requirements, discuss risks, resolve issues, and promote collaboration. Strong organizational skills with a proactive and self-directed working style. Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize competing demands, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high-quality deliverables. Experience supporting organizational change, including the introduction of governance frameworks and adoption of new processes and tools. Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the evolution of best practices through research, feedback, and continuous improvement.
