Job summary

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Senior Maximo Systems Developer-Integrator to lead the implementation of IBM Maximo Application Suite 9 and MAS Manage for our client. This role will support the migration from IBM Maximo 7.6.1.3 to MAS 9 and will be responsible for installing, configuring, integrating, securing, testing, documenting, and supporting MAS Manage across Staging, QA, and Production environments hosted on an on-premises Red Hat OpenShift platform. The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical leadership throughout implementation, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and knowledge transfer. Responsibilities: Lead the installation and configuration of IBM Maximo Application Suite 9 and MAS Manage. Build, configure, and validate MAS environments across Staging, QA, and Production. Deploy and manage MAS applications on Red Hat OpenShift. Configure OpenShift operators, namespaces, routes, ingress, security contexts, secrets, and persistent volumes. Implement storage using NetApp volumes provisioned through Trident. Configure MAS Manage, Suite Administration, registry components, and related platform services. Configure TLS certificates and secure application endpoints and internal platform components. Implement and troubleshoot LDAP and identity-provider integrations. Configure role-based access controls, single sign-on, and user authentication. Coordinate with database teams to configure Oracle schemas, connectivity, parameters, and performance settings. Configure and validate SMTP integration for MAS Manage notifications. Support data extraction, staging, transformation, loading, migration, and validation activities. Validate migrated transactional, configuration, integration, and security data. Configure, support, and validate integrations between Maximo/MAS and SAP. Support integrations involving API gateways, ESB, OSB, and other enterprise middleware. Support integrations with ESRI GIS and spatial systems. Support mobility integrations involving Prometheus, DataSplice, or comparable platforms. Validate interoperability between MAS Manage and connected enterprise systems. Prepare and execute technical test plans across all environments. Support functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing. Identify, document, investigate, and resolve technical defects and integration issues. Document root causes, corrective actions, test results, and implementation outcomes. Support production cutover, go-live, system validation, and post-production hypercare. Troubleshoot application, integration, authentication, certificate, database, and performance issues. Produce installation runbooks, configuration documentation, architecture diagrams, environment maps, and operational procedures. Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, Ansible, Python, or equivalent technologies to automate installation, configuration, and validation activities. Deliver technical knowledge-transfer sessions and supporting materials to sustainment teams. Support Day-2 operational readiness, including monitoring, backup, recovery, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform maintenances. Requirements: 10 years of experience administering and supporting Maximo and/or MAS-Manage platforms, including installation, configuration, patching, and environment maintenance. 5 years of experience installing, configuring, or upgrading IBM Maximo 7.6.x including WebSphere or Liberty, integrations, and customizations. 3 years of experience implementing or supporting Maximo Application Suite (MAS) components, including experience with MAS Manage, Suite Administration, and registry configuration. 3 years of experience deploying and managing applications on Red Hat OpenShift (operators, routes, ingress, security contexts, namespaces, secrets, and persistent volumes). 4 years of experience integrating enterprise applications with Oracle databases, including connection configuration, schema preparation, tuning parameters, and validating connectivity in containerized environments. 4 years of experience configuring and troubleshooting LDAP / IDP authentication, RBAC roles, and SSO within enterprise systems. 10 years of experience supporting or validating integrations between Maximo and: SAP (including finance, work management, vendor/labor, or cost center integrations),API gateways or ESB/OSB, GIS/ESRI systems, and Mobility applications such as Prometheus/DataSplice. 3 years of experience supporting or validating integrations between MAS and: SAP (including finance, work management, vendor/labor, or cost center integrations),API gateways or ESB/OSB, GIS/ESRI systems, and Mobility applications such as Prometheus/DataSplice. 3 years of experience producing installation runbooks, configuration documentation, architecture diagrams, and Day‑2 operational procedures. 3 years of experience performing environment‑to‑environment deployments across DEV, Staging, QA, and Production, including validation, smoke testing, and regression support. 2 years of experience performing TLS and certificate‑based configuration for enterprise platforms, including securing application endpoints and internal components. Experience with scripting/automation (Bash, Ansible, Python or equivalent) to automate installation, configuration, or validation tasks within enterprise environments.
