Your Contribution As a Superintendent Ventilation, you'll lead the planning, optimization, and performance of underground mine ventilation systems to support safe, healthy, and productive operations. You'll help ensure regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement in ventilation performance and operational efficiency. As Part of Our Team, You Will Develop and execute mine ventilation plans that deliver safe airflow and air quality across underground operations. Monitor, analyze, and improve ventilation system performance using data, reporting, and key performance indicators. Lead inspections, audits, and risk management activities to maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. Partner with mine operations, planning, maintenance, contractors, and safety teams to integrate ventilation requirements into operational planning. Lead and develop a high-performing team while promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role Degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline. Considerable experience in underground mine ventilation, including ventilation design, optimization, and regulatory compliance. Strong knowledge of mine production, mine planning, risk management, and business improvement practices. Experience using data analytics to evaluate ventilation performance and support operational decision-making. Demonstrated leadership experience, including team development, stakeholder engagement, and contractor or project management Your Work Environment Works closely with Mine Technical Services, Mine Operations, Asset Management, and Mine Planning teams. Collaborates with contractors, consultants, and regulatory stakeholders. Provides leadership for ventilation activities that directly support underground mining operations.
