Purpose of Job: The Receiving Floor Facilitator adds value to our Customers and our Co-Workers by being responsible for assisting the Supervisor in the direction and active participation in the daily operations of the Warehouse in a safe and efficient manner. This involves being a positive team member by delegating assigned shift tasks, ensuring the team is engaged, responding to requests from other departments, and participating in completing shift tasks. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure all duties and responsibilities are completed as per Next’s Standard Operating Procedures: * Team Leadership: Assign duties in a fair manner to complete shift goals as assigned by Receiving Supervisor. * Operations Coordination: Participate in completing shift goals as assigned and ensuring urgent department requests are met. * Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the Receiving Supervisor and other departments by providing accurate and timely response to internal department requests. * Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain and ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following and promoting company policies and safety procedures and ensuring a clean as you go mentality. * Other Duties as Assigned: As a member of the team, there may be other tasks assigned that are not listed above. Recommended Qualifications: Knowledge/Skill/Ability Requirements: * Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities * Strong problem-solving skills * Strong English verbal communication skills * Basic math functions * Good English reading and writing skills. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to operate warehouse equipment (reach truck, forklift etc) safely and efficiently. * Ability to use computer software programs such as WMS system, Microsoft products etc. Experience & Education: * High School or equivalent * MHE Certification required Physical Demands/ Working Conditions: * This position involves standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. * Position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance. * This position may be required to assist in any role in the warehouse as needed to meet productivity targets. * Position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.
