POSITION SUMMARY: The Professional and Leadership Development Manager is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and evaluation of enterprise-wide leadership and professional development strategies that strengthen organizational capability and leadership effectiveness across NFI Group. This role serves as a strategic partner to business leaders and HR teams, ensuring learning and development initiatives support business objectives, workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. WHY JOIN US: Be part of a team leading the world's electrification of mass mobility Competitive Wages and comprehensive benefit package with Immediate benefit eligibility Paid holidays and vacation Registered pension plan with generous company match Passionate about creatinga better product, a better workplace, and a better world Inclusive workplace culture that values and empowers team members On-the-job training in a continuous learning environment (we invested $15.9 million in 2024) Advancement opportunities within our family of companies We are proudly named one of Manitoba's Top 25 employers WHAT YOU WILL DO: Develop and execute enterprise leadership and professional development strategies aligned with organizational goals and workforce needs Partner with senior leadership and HR teams to enhance leadership capability, organizational effectiveness, and employee performance Design, implement, and continuously improve leadership development programs, learning pathways, and professional growth initiatives Build and manage relationships with internal subject matter experts, educational institutions, industry associations, and external partners Oversee the development and delivery of leadership curriculum through classroom, virtual, blended, coaching, mentoring, and eLearning methods Evaluate and enhance onboarding, orientation, and leadership transition programs to improve employee engagement, retention, and productivity Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to measure learning effectiveness, leadership growth, and business impact Support organizational development initiatives related to culture, change management, workforce planning, and employee engagement Contribute to the planning and management of learning and development budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and measurable business value Provide strategic leadership for enterprise leadership forums, conferences, and development events Prepare and present learning and development metrics, workforce capability reports, and organizational effectiveness updates to senior leadership Ensure compliance with organizational policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements Requirements WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Certificate or training in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience developing, implementing, and facilitating leadership and professional development programs Strong curriculum design, instructional design, and program delivery capabilities Experience facilitating learning programs and workshops for adult learners and leaders Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders and influence organizational development initiatives Strong understanding of leadership development, organizational effectiveness, performance improvement, and change management principles Experience measuring learning outcomes and using data to drive continuous improvement Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with learning technologies, eLearning platforms, or content development tools such as Articulate is considered an asset Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Physical & Workplace Requirements: Ability to work in a professional office environment, including extended periods of sitting and computer use Occasional lifting and carrying of materials or equipment related to training and development activities Ability to facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations in person and virtually Travel approximately 15-20% to support leadership development initiatives and business needs Must be eligible to travel within Canada and the United States Benefits OUR WHY: We exist to move people.
