SAH Band 3 £28,286 to £30,531 per annum pro rata 24 hours per week, (3 days over Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon) 08:00 to 16:30 (with some flexibility to meet the needs of the service) Who are we? St Andrew’s Hospice is a registered charity providing specialist palliative care for patients with life-limiting conditions, which require complex symptom management, and/or end-of-life care. It is Lanarkshire's specialist hospice and provides multidisciplinary support for patients, their families and carers. The service is provided completely free of charge for the adult population of North and South Lanarkshire and is open to all without distinction of race, gender or creed. What is the role? The successful candidate will provide support to the Catering Manager. You will work with the Catering Manager to lead our catering team to provide excellent customer service; whilst exceeding expectations in all areas under your remit. You will supervise a patient, public and staff focused food delivery service. You will ensure the provision of catering in accordance with Hospice Hospitality Policy and deliver innovation and a reputation for consistent quality of delivery of services, whilst meeting cost targets. What we expect of you? The Successful Candidate Will Be an experienced and trained chef having worked in various catering outlets Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent customer service Have a good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety principles Have experience of leading and managing a team Have the skills to contribute to service development projects. Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office packages What you can expect from us?
