Noble is looking for a motivated individuals to assist with the construction of conveyance systems Underground at the BHP Jansen Mine! Underground Conveyor Construction Personnel: The Underground Conveyor Construction Crew will complete the installation of Underground conveyors with the direction and support of the Mechanical Supervisor and Mechanical Superintendent. The Crew will consist of Millwrights, Welders, and Miners/Belt Personnel. Schedule: 2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotating between days and nights Living out allowance or Camp options available Travel for each turnaround available depending on place of residence Responsibilities Install, assemble, and align underground conveyor systems Perform belt installation, tracking, splicing, and tensioning Install frames, rollers, idlers, pulleys, and drives Read and interpret installation drawings and schematics Use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely Conduct inspections and report defects or hazards Follow all mine safety regulations and company procedures Work effectively in an underground mine and in physically demanding conditions Support maintenance and repair work as required Operating various pieces of equipment Follow Noble and BHP safety policies Participate in safety meeting and toolbox talk with supervision Gathering and staging various materials to complete construction task Relevant Qualifications: Conveyance and belt construction experience Ability to work well with others Ground control experience Experience operating telehandlers Experience operating Scoop trams Certified in the operation of a mobile crane Rigging experience Safe work record Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding Combination of sitting, standing, walking Bending, crouching, kneeling Ability to work 12-hour shifts night shift Competencies: Initiative Priority setting/ Time Management Motivating Others Accuracy/ Attention to detail Team Player We would like to thank everyone for their application, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.
