We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our advanced optical systems team at Nokia (Nuremberg), responsible for the design and development of next-generation optical modem technology operating at the highest data rates and transmission capacities. This role requires deep expertise in digital communication theory, advanced physical layer modeling, signal processing, lab testing and debugging. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, high-performance environment to drive innovation in coherent optical transmission systems.
What you’ll do
The engineer will be responsible for the design and development of next-generation optical modem technology. This includes working within a collaborative team to drive innovation in coherent optical transmission systems.
Requirements
The role requires deep expertise in digital communication theory and advanced physical layer modeling. Candidates should also have experience in signal processing algorithms design.
