The 4LS Customer Support Engineer is responsible for 1830 customer problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution. 1830 4LS engineers are expected to be or become leading experts on one or more aspects of the 1830 WDM product and technology, including WDM optical transmission, coherent optical transponders and line modules, control and management software, and OTN switching. The NOKIA 1830 team is looking for highly motivated and experienced engineer to support customers in a rapidly growing market, with focus on both hyper-scaler and communications service-provider customers. This system provides leading-edge optical transmission capabilities at industry-leading data rates (100G+), optical reach, and bandwidth density. Requirements
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in the development, test, or technical support of optical communications systems. A Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics is required.
