Our client, a major energy producer in Canada is searching for a Procurement Specialist to support procurement and sourcing for capital projects across their Midstream assets in North America. Requirements 6+ years in procurement, contract management, or strategic sourcing (commercial/technical mix) Bachelor's in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or related field Experience leading sourcing events, negotiations, and supplier performance management Familiarity with engineering/construction project processes Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills SCMP, PMP, Lean/Six Sigma an asset Proficient in MS Office, SAP, Livelink, Tableau Responsibilities Manage portfolio demand and identify optimization opportunities Source/procure materials and services, ensuring timely delivery Build RFQs, lead negotiations, issue POs Manage full PO lifecycle (formation to close-out) Advise stakeholders and drive continuous improvement Ensure SCM policy compliance Details In person at their head Calgary office 40 hrs/week, Mon–Fri Contract length: 2–3 years

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field and over 6 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing. Proficiency in SAP and Tableau, along with certifications like SCMP or PMP, are considered assets.
