This role works closely with the Packaging/Processing Employees, Team Leaders and Supervisors to ensure all processes are available to operate at capacity stated * Answering Packaging/Processing calls to troubleshoot and repair equipment to bring them back on line in a safe, timely manner * Familiarizing yourself with our CMMS system, Perform and complete inspections and PM in the CMMS system, creating and following up on Work Orders as needed * Helping prevent unnecessary breakdowns by inspecting and maintaining all plant machinery on a PM schedule * Identify via troubleshooting root cause of asset(s) downtime/slow down from capacity * Contributing to a positive employee experience through continuous improvement of the equipment and the business * Working inside, outside and in cold areas with Safety and Capacity at the very front of all tasks YOUR PROFILE: * Industrial Mechanic/Millwright/Apprentice/High Mechanical Experience * High mechanical aptitude with a proven track record * Experienced in preventative maintenance, conveying systems, pumps, hydraulics, troubleshooting, welding, the layout of work, electrical knowledge * A tactful communicator with a willingness to solve problems using critical thinking skills * Willing to share and implement ideas for continuous improvement as part of lean manufacturing initiatives * Ability to work alone and make timely correct decisions as required * Tig/mig welding and fabrication experience would be a great asset We’re looking for people like you!
