RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and provide input to projects regarding power utilization system in utilities, industrial, facilities equipment and systems. Develop project electrical deliverables and critical documents including: single line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable tray layouts, cable schedules, junction box layouts, bill of materials, lighting and grounding layouts, control panel layouts, instrument layouts and instrument indices, and area classification drawings. Perform electrical system studies such as :- Short Circuit, Load flow, Load Study, Lighting Study, Grounding & Lightning Studies, Arc Flash etc. Review vendor and subcontractor quotes and drawings for accuracy Provided assistance with Factrory Acceptance Tests FAT and Testing & Commissioning of projects facilities as needed Attends and participates in HAZOPs, Model Reviews and Constructability Reviews as needed QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 6 years of electrical discipline experience Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University Registered professional engineer with APEGA Proficiency and a solid understanding of all pertinent codes, standards, guidelines and best practices Ability to take responsibility for a variety of tasks and follow through from initialization to completion independently Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent time management skills All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada, be a resident, and residing in Calgary or be willing to relocate to Calgary, to be considered for the position. Requirements

Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and be a registered professional engineer with APEGA. A minimum of 6 years of relevant electrical discipline experience is required, along with proficiency in industry codes and standards.
