Nationals Game Day Volunteer – Event Support North Pole Hoops (NPH) Location: Humber College (North Campus) Dates: March 23–29, 2026 Volunteer Hours: Hours are tracked and verified upon request North Pole Hoops (NPH) is seeking dependable volunteers to support our tournaments and special events across Ontario. Game Day Volunteers play an important role in ensuring events run smoothly by assisting with on-court support, team needs, and venue operations. This opportunity is ideal for students, community members, and individuals seeking volunteer hours while gaining hands-on experience in live sports environments. Volunteer Responsibilities Volunteer duties may include, but are not limited to: Court & Facility Support Wiping the court during breaks as needed Providing and removing balls from courts after pregame and halftime warmups Assisting with venue set up before, during, and after games Bench & Team Support Helping keep benches clean and organized Liasoning with teams prior to games and during halftime Event Operations Supporting staff with general game-day tasks Manage BallerTV battery maintenance by charging, rotating, and preparing backup batteries Track and collect all basketballs to prevent lost or misplaced balls Coaches Room Support – Restocking food, snacks, and beverages Who We’re Looking For Those looking for their first experience with basketball operations Reliable, punctual, and willing to help Comfortable working in fast-paced, live event settings Team-oriented with a positive attitude Adaptable and willing to learn Self-directed and willing to take initiative Interest in basketball or community sports is an asset Access to reliable transportation What You’ll Gain Verified volunteer hours for school and community service Hands-on experience at live basketball events Exposure to league and game operations

Volunteers will ensure smooth event execution by assisting with on-court duties such as court wiping and ball management, and supporting team benches during breaks and halftime. Responsibilities also include general game-day tasks like restocking the coaches' room and maintaining BallerTV equipment.

The ideal candidate must be reliable, punctual, and possess a positive, team-oriented attitude, comfortable working in fast-paced live event settings. While no specific experience is required, an interest in basketball or community sports is considered an asset, along with access to reliable transportation.
