Our client is hiring Cloud Bookkeeping Manager | Fully Remote | This is a full-time, permanent, fully remote opportunity** for someone with strong cloud accounting and bookkeeping experience who enjoys working directly with clients, managing multiple engagements, and supporting junior team members. Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 per year Location: Fully Remote – Canada Employment: Full-time, Permanent The Opportunity You’ll join a growing team supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly client engagements across a diverse range of industries. The position combines hands-on cloud bookkeeping, client management, accounting oversight, and team support. Key Responsibilities • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients across various industries • Set up and maintain clients in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero • Clean up and catch up existing accounting files • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable • Support and oversee payroll processing • Prepare and review month-end and quarterly accounting work • Complete GST/HST filings • Bring client books through to the trial balance stage • Prepare reports and financial statements • Review transactions for accuracy across supplier, customer, and general ledgers • Work directly with clients and respond to accounting-related questions • Maintain accurate client records and documentation • Review the work of Junior and Intermediate Bookkeepers when required • Assist with coaching and developing less experienced team members • Manage multiple client files and competing deadlines • Liaise with internal and external accountants as required What We’re Looking For • Previous experience as a Senior Bookkeeper, Bookkeeping Manager, or equivalent • Strong full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting knowledge • Experience managing multiple client files and deadlines • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment • Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Strong client-service mindset • Comfortable working in a technology-driven, cloud-based accounting environment Software Experience Experience with several of the following would be an asset: • QuickBooks Online • QuickBooks Desktop • Xero • QuickBooks Payroll • Wave Accounting • Hubdoc and/or Dext • Plooto • Wagepoint • Payment Evolution • Microsoft Excel and Word • Google Workspace • CRA Online Services Xero certification is considered an asset.
