In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family centered care model. The Registered Nurse - Perinatal, working collaboratively with the inter-professional team, plans and provides direct patient care to obstetrical patients during the intra, postpartum and high-risk antepartum periods and other assigned patients by assessing, planning, providing and evaluating nursing care. The Registered Nurse demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities. Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (rotating)

Requirements
Must be a Registered Nurse practicing in accordance with BCCNM standards and professional ethics. Requires specialized knowledge in perinatal nursing and the ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
