We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our Operations team. The ideal candidate will possess good mechanical knowledge and experience operating various types of heavy equipment, including skid steers, loaders, and excavators. This role requires a safety-conscious individual capable of handling complex machinery in a variety of industries. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, loaders, and excavators, with precision and safety. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal functioning. Safely load and unloading mats from transport trucks Laying/picking mats precisely and safely on client sites Adhere and participate in tail gate meetings, field level hazard assessments and adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times during operation. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow on-site. Ensure mat trackers are completed daily, and submitted prior to leaving site Ensure mat quality control forms are completed when Field Supervisor is not on site, and submitted prior to leaving site Collecting all transport trucks BOL’s when Field Supervisor is not on site, and submitting prior to leaving site Take photos of site pre and post job completion when Field Supervisor is not on site Complete daily time tickets (when no supervisor is on site) and ensure that all proper information is recorded and submitted prior to leaving the site Experience Proven experience operating heavy equipment. Prior work in construction sites or industrial environments demonstrating adherence to safety standards is required. Maintaining relationships with all personnel to ensure close communication in a professional and courteous manners within Northern Mat & Bridge, and its various partnerships.
