Northern Mat & Bridge is looking for an experienced Class 1 Lowbed Driver who takes pride in their work, values safety, and wants steady, meaningful work across Western Canada. In this role, you’ll be trusted to safely haul heavy equipment, matting, and bridge materials to customer sites. You’ll work alongside a strong operations team that keeps things organized, safe, and moving. Sign-On Bonus Program available for experienced drivers — ask us for details What You’ll Be Doing Operating lowbed, Super B, and tandem trailers to move heavy equipment and materials Safely loading, securing, and transporting oversized and specialized loads Completing pre- and post-trip inspections and ensuring equipment is road-ready Handling paperwork and logs (e-logs, BOLs, time tickets) accurately Working closely with operators, dispatch, and site teams during loading/unloading Participating in toolbox talks and safety meetings Helping maintain clean, well-kept trucks and trailers Contributing to a safe, organized, and professional worksite What You Bring Valid Class 1 licence with a clean driver’s abstract 2+ years of Class 1 experience (lowbed and/or Super B preferred) Solid understanding of load securement and safe hauling practices Comfortable working in field and changing site conditions Willingness to travel across AB, BC, SK, and MB Bonus If You Have Experience with oversized/overweight loads Winch truck experience Familiarity with jeep and booster setups Background in oilfield, construction, or remote site work Knowledge of matting or bridge products Why Join NMB Strong, safety-first culture where drivers are respected Reliable, steady work across multiple regions Supportive team environment — you’re not just a truck number here Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive package based on your experience, including: Employer-paid health & dental benefits Health Care Spending Account (HCSA) Employee & Family Assistance Program RRSP matching + Profit sharing Employee Stock Purchase Plan Paid time off and wellness supports Work Environment Full-time, on-the-road role Travel across Western Canada Outdoor, field-based work in varying conditions Our Commitment Northern Mat & Bridge is committed to a safe, respectful, and drug- and alcohol-free workplace. Requirements

Requires a valid Class 1 driver's licence with a clean abstract and at least 2 years of relevant driving experience. Candidates must be comfortable working in field conditions and possess a strong understanding of load securement practices.
