Job summary

Position Summary Reporting to and in collaboration with NorthStar’s Marketing Director this role will plan, develop, and evaluate NorthStar Bets marketing activities. This includes planning marketing campaigns focusing on brand awareness, player acquisition and user engagement. Core Competencies • Project Management - Ability to multi-task across numerous workstreams, ensuring timely execution and budget adherence. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Positive work ethic - Takes ownership & accountability, works smart • Team player - works cooperatively with people across levels, functions, culture, and geography to achieve shared goals • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail • Creative Thinker that explores innovative solutions • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify challenges and offer creative, effective solutions to optimize performance. • Strategic brand management and marketing communications • Experience with Digital marketing • Financial & Business Management knowledge Key Outcomes of the Position Promotions & Campaign Planning • Be a key contributor for the marketing function with ownership of promotions & campaigns end-to-end • Lead the development, planning and execution of promotions and related CRM campaigns, initiatives, and goals • Test promotions • Support flawless execution of campaigns to build positive brand perceptions & image across multiple media channels • Proactively bring forward creative & innovative marketing opportunities, rooted in insight • Drive Player Value (PV) on NorthStar Gaming site & app Reporting • Be a key communicator for the marketing function with ownership of analysis, monitoring, and reporting on campaigns & promotion performance • Measure & evaluate performance of marketing activities against KPIs & targets • Manage monthly promotion budget (tracking and maintenance) while reporting on associated monthly spend • Assist in reporting and creation of presentations on performance for stakeholders Creative • Manage internal creative and production pipeline/workflow management system • Support the in-house & external creative agency (sign-off new creative, managing creative output with project tools). • Maintain brand consistency (image, tone, manner) across all media channels Research • Leverage Brand Health Studies to monitor performance of tentpole campaigns, and identify areas for building the brand • Research and synthesize consumer behaviour insights to identify opportunities grounded • Support research initiatives and associated execution plan (cadence, segments, automations) Stakeholder Management • Be a team player by collaborating cross-functionally with your counterparts & stakeholders as needed (Product, Compliance, Legal, etc) • Effectively collaborate across departments to maximize the impact of marketing campaigns • Manage relationships with key partners and stakeholders on activities related to planning, execution, measurement, and optimization • Support the development and execution of brand sponsorships and partnership initiatives with external stakeholders • Manage relationships with partnered content creators Competitive Landscape • Monitor key competitors to identify new trends and best practices • Remain current on market trends and industry activity through market research. Required Education & Experience • 2 – 4 years experience in digital marketing or similar role (a focus on casino, sports-betting, or similar industry, is preferred) • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Working knowledge of digital marketing tools such as (but not limited to) Google Analytics, Google Ads, Apple Ads, Meta, Monday.com Preferred Experience • Knowledge of digital marketing or experience working in a consumer facing app preferred • Passionate about casino & sports entertainment, and betting
