The Inspection Trainee will assist Operators in the inspection and repair of used tubular goods and is responsible for pipe handling, cleaning and inspection and repair of used tubular goods, including drill pipe. RESPONSIBILITIES * Assisting Operators in the utilization of Wellhead Isolog, Wellchek, and Classifax Sonoscope Isolog units. * Thread inspection * Magnetic Particle Inspection * Cleaning and repair of pipe threads * Drifting and sorting of tubulars * Removal and application of thread compounds * Coupling removal and replacement * Equipment set up and tear down * Unit calibration * Basic unit maintenance * General housekeeping and shop cleanup * Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures and programs; including but not limited to the process map, support processes, health, safety and environmental requirements * Participate in training programs as required by the company * All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS * Partial high school education with the ability to read, write and speak a minimum amount of English to perform job duties * Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service * Standard First Aid and H2S Alive training preferred This position is classified as safety sensitive and employment would be conditional on satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
