They are also responsible for mentoring medical students and residents and participating in interprofessional initiatives. Candidates must be certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with a certificate of added competence in Palliative Care. Applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.
