Activities include cleaning, mopping and dusting all areas in the hospital. Other work would include floor care (scrubbing and waxing floors), shampooing of carpets and chairs, waste removal (hazardous waste and regular waste), chemical spill cleanup, laundry tasks, room set-ups, window cleaning (interior), some salt application during winter months, isolation room cleaning, flood and bloodspill clean ups. About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following: Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience required. Effective communication skills. Preference will be given to applicants with cleaning and floor care experience. Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred. Hours Long-Assignment, Part-Time Position: 30 Hours Bi-weekly Shifts are 7:30am-3:30pm and 11:30am-7:30am shifts, includes weekends and holidays Approximately 12 months long Dates are subject to change Compensation And Benefits $20.74 - $21.56 Hourly Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
