Furthermore, they are responsible for ensuring that process and procedure documentation is updated regularly.This is a term role for approximately 2-years.Reporting StructureReports to: Manager ? IT Application SupportEssential ResponsibilitiesProvide one-on-one end user support and problem resolution via telephone, email, instant messaging, and in person for business applicationsDevelop effective relationships with representatives of the organization's Business Units to ensure software solutions effectively meet business needs and strategic initiatives.Liaise with 2nd and 3rd level IT support staff to escalate and resolve issues more efficientlyWork effectively with third-party vendors of software and services to coordinate and implementation tasksAssist with processing RFA's and/or role changes, daily hire/rehire/terminations for users by indicated requirement dateUser access administration in various software productsPerform regression testing for application updates and feature releasesPerform daily monitoring tasksGenerate reportsMaintain application user guides and access administration documentation as neededSecondary ResponsibilitiesParticipate in an after-hours on-call rotation as requiredConduct training sessions and/or create training materials for end usersDemonstrate commitment to the NSLC's ValuesDemonstrate commitment to the NSLC's social responsibility mandate.Demonstrate commitment to workplace health and safety.Perform other related duties as assigned; occasional travel as requiredQualificationsAs a qualified candidate, you will have:1 ? 3 years of experience working in an IT application support roleDiploma in Computer Technology or related equivalentAs the ideal candidate, you will also have:Experience providing second-level support for systems troubleshooting and problem resolution.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredInterested?
