Responsibilities Tasks Organize tasks to accomplish the work Oversee operational logistics of the organization Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments Prepare and submit reports Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery Arrange for maintenance and repair work Train workers in duties and policies Arrange training for staff Conduct performance reviews Co-ordinate, assign and review work Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers Requisition materials and supplies Ensure safety procedures are followed Experience and specialization Computer and technology knowledge Dispatch management service software MS Excel Adobe Acrobat Reader Spreadsheet Monitoring and tracking software Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Attention to detail Repetitive tasks Ability to work independently Personal suitability Accurate Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Flexibility Organized Reliability Team player Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Health care plan Vision care benefits Other Benefits Free parking available
