Project Summary We are seeking Senior Developers to support a data modernization and archiving initiative focused on migrating historical financial data from a legacy Client mainframe environment to a secure, scalable, and user-friendly archival solution. The successful candidates will require advanced expertise in Microsoft Power BI and Oracle PL/SQL/ETL development to contribute to the design and development of the solution, including data analysis and modelling, ETL development, business intelligence reporting, data migration and validation, testing, integration, deployment, and documentation. The role will involve close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to ensure the solution meets reporting, data quality, performance, and long-term data retention requirements. Typical Tasks Gather, validate, and translate business and technical requirements into functional and technical specifications. Analyze source data and develop data models, mappings, business rules, and data structures. Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL and ETL processes to support data migration and archiving requirements. Design, develop, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and related reporting solutions. Develop and enhance business intelligence reports, dashboards, datasets, and ad-hoc reporting solutions. Integrate reporting solutions with existing applications and data sources. Develop data validation, reconciliation, error-checking, and quality assurance processes. Perform unit testing, data validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Support reporting integrations, APIs, and embedded analytics as required. Collaborate with business and data stakeholders on data quality, governance, and reporting requirements. Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation, including architecture, data mappings, workflows, and support procedures. Support solution deployment, production implementation, and post-deployment activities. Provide user training, knowledge transfer, and transition support. Participate in stakeholder workshops and meetings to understand business objectives, KPIs, reporting needs, and success criteria. Mandatory Qualifications Must have 8 years of experience in Software Development, Data Engineering, or a related field. Must have 5 years of experience working as a Senior Software Developer, Senior Programmer, or in a similar role. Must have 5 years of experience with data analysis, data modelling, data mapping, and integration of multiple data sources. Must have 2 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL and ETL Development. Must have 2 years of experience developing business intelligence reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI. Must have 2 years of experience designing and implementing data migration and archival solutions, including data validation, reconciliation, quality assurance, testing, and troubleshooting. Other Requirements Must currently hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance with the Government of Canada. Must be Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking) - French bilingual considered an asset. Must have a University Degree or College/CEGEP Diploma related to Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or similar from a recognized post-secondary institution. A copy of the degree or diploma must be provided upon request. Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($60/hr - $70/hr). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
