Job summary

Laborer – Truss Assembly Location: Regina, SK Nu‑Fab is a proud member of the All‑Fab Group of Companies, one of Western Canada’s leading manufacturers of engineered wood products, roof and floor trusses, and prefabricated building components. Together, we support residential, commercial, and industrial construction with innovative solutions, exceptional service, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. We are looking for a reliable, safety‑focused Labourer to join our truss production team. In this hands‑on role, you will assemble wooden roof and floor trusses using pre‑engineered drawings. This position requires standing for extended periods and safely lifting 25–50 lbs. Previous truss‑building experience is an asset, but we are committed to training the right candidate who brings a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities * Work with the Team Leader to set up the workstation for each order. * Assemble trusses according to company procedures, standard operating guidelines, and Team Leader instructions. * Inspect materials, equipment, and completed work regularly; report any issues promptly. * Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout the shift, including end‑of‑day cleanup. * Operate tools and equipment safely, correctly, and responsibly as instructed. Experience * Experience as a truss builder (preferred but not required). * Ability to use a hammer and read a tape measure (foot‑inch‑sixteenth method). * Experience reading and understanding work orders. * Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction, or labour‑intensive environment is an asset. Knowledge & Abilities * Strong verbal and written English communication skills. * Team‑oriented, cooperative, and supportive. * Detail‑oriented, accurate, and committed to safe work practices. * Ability to prioritize tasks and work productively in a fast‑paced team environment. * Willingness to learn new skills and participate actively in team huddles. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Proactive mindset with a desire to improve processes and personal performance.
