Job summary

Truss Technician – Nu‑Fab Building Products Location: Saskatoon, SK Nu‑Fab Building Products, part of the All‑Fab Group of Companies, is seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Truss Technician to join our Saskatoon production team. In this hands‑on role, you will assemble wooden roof and floor trusses using pre‑engineered drawings. This position requires standing for extended periods and safely lifting 25–50 lbs. Previous truss‑building experience is an asset, but we are committed to training the right candidate who brings a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities * Work with the Team Leader to set up the workstation for each order. * Assemble trusses according to company procedures, Standard Work Operating Procedures (SWOP), and Team Leader instructions. * Inspect materials, equipment, and completed work regularly; report any issues promptly. * Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout the shift, including end‑of‑day cleanup. * Operate all tools, equipment, and machinery safely, correctly, and responsibly. Experience * Experience as a truss builder (preferred but not required). * Ability to use a hammer and read a tape measure (foot‑inch‑sixteenth method). * Experience reading and understanding work orders. Knowledge & Abilities * Strong verbal and written English communication skills. * Team‑oriented, cooperative, and supportive. * Detail‑oriented, accurate, and committed to safe work practices. * Able to prioritize tasks and work productively in a fast‑paced team environment. * Willingness to learn new skills and participate actively in team huddles. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Proactive mindset with a desire to improve processes and personal performance.
